Every woman has the potential for access to the Rio Abajo Rio, the river that flows to the river below. There comes with deep meditation, dance, writing, painting, prayer, singing, drumming, active imagination, or any activity requiring an intense altered consciousness. The woman comes to this world-between-the-worlds with longing, and looking for something that can just see the corner of the eye. There comes with deeply creative acts, the intentional solitude, with the practice of the arts. And even with these practices developed much of what happens in this ineffable world remains forever mysterious, because it breaks the laws of physics and rational as we know them.
